Greenville Regional Hospital Payment & Healthcare Assistance Policy
Greenville Regional Hospital will submit your claim for services to your health insurance company.  All services not covered and consinurance amounts are the reponsibility of the patient and will be due within or no later than 30 days after receiving the hospital statement.  Deductibles and copayments will be due at time of service.

If you do not have health insurance coverage or are concerned that you may be underinsured for the services received, Greenville Regional Hospital has programs available that may help.  Please contact our Patient Financial Counselor at 618.664.1230, x3051 for more information.

  • Some plans may not allow you to have certain tests or procedures done locally.
  • Before seeking non-emergency types of health care, check with your insurance company,

HMO or PPO network or your employee benefits department to make certain all services are covered at Greenville Regional Hospital.

Greenville Regional Hospital will bill your health insurance provider for any services received. All fees not covered by the health plan are due within or no later than 30 days from receipt of statement.

If you do not have health insurance coverage, or are concerned that you may be under-insured for the services received, we may be able to help. Greenville Regional Hospital’s Health Care Assistance Program is available for patients with accounts totaling $100 or more, if income guidelines are met.
