Fair Oaks recently dropped the “nursing home” from its name, well, maybe because it just didn’t quite fit. Fair Oaks is so much more than an accredited skilled nursing facility.
Residents have the opportunity and are encouraged to participate in family and community events. While they may still need some nursing assistance, residents continue to live life on the go…like the Go Go Girls. This local chapter of the Red Hat Society is quickly noticeable when they converge on a local eatery for lunch. With their purple and red, custom-designed t-shirts and outstanding red hats, these women are quickly becoming the Queen Moms of Red Hats anywhere!
The men enjoy their veterans’ groups and board the Fair Oaks van to participate in local patriotic parades throughout the year.
All of the residents who are able and willing enjoy the scenic rides throughout the seasons.
Families are welcome at Fair Oaks, and the barbecue grill and Gazebo in the enclosed courtyard offer a perfect setting for family gatherings. Residents appreciate the opportunity to get outside in the courtyard that maintains a sense of security for them.
Throughout the year, special events, parties, entertainment and special programs stimulate the lives of the Fair Oaks residents.
