Our Foundation

The Utlaut Memorial Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 organization that supports the mission of Greenville Regional Hospital.

Every year Greenville Regional Hospital absorbs the cost of shortfalls in Medicaid reimbursements, charity care, and uncollectible accounts to further our mission-to provide compassionate care and improve lives. In 2010 the total cost of uncompensated care came to $3,478,904.

We would not be able to provide this care to individuals in need without the support of community members like you. Your regular donations make it possible for Greenville Regional Hospital to maintain and upgrade equipment as we strive to meet the health care needs of our growing community.

Gifts of Cash:
All cash donations made to the Utlaut Memorial Foundation are tax-deductible. Cumulative gifts totaling $1,000 or more qualify for membership in the Utlaut Memorial Foundation.

Life Income Gifts:
Life income gifts, such as charitable gift annuities or charitable reminder trusts, offer the donor an opportunity to provide a generous gift to the Utlaut Memorial Foundation while receiving income and a generous tax deduction.

Gifts of Securities or Real Estate:
Gifts of securities, such as stocks, and real estate are becoming increasingly popular. These gifts may benefit the donor with tax deductions.
